To finish, your guide will introduce you to the magnificent St. Peter’s Basilica from outside, sharing its history, architecture, and most fascinating details. When Vatican access conditions allow, you’ll also have the opportunity to enter the Basilica for a self-guided visit and discover its incredible interior at your own pace.
Please note that access to St. Peter’s Basilica is subject to Vatican and St. Peter’s regulations and cannot always be guaranteed. The Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica may also occasionally close due to religious ceremonies, official events, security measures, or other decisions by Vatican authorities, sometimes without prior notice.
If Basilica access is unavailable, your guide will still provide a full explanation from outside and enrich the experience with additional areas of the Vatican Museums.

Our meeting point is at the corner of the Caffè Vaticano and the stairs on Via Tunisi. There you will find our guide with our orange umbrella.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the tour starts. Late arrivals cannot be refunded.

Is there a dress code for the Vatican?
Yes. The Vatican has a strict dress code that applies to both men and women. Shoulders and knees must be covered, and clothing should be modest and respectful. Please avoid sleeveless or low-cut tops, crop tops, very short skirts or shorts, and other revealing clothing. Hats or caps may also need to be removed inside certain areas. Guests who do not comply with the dress code may be refused entry by Vatican authorities.
Where is the meeting point for the tour?
The meeting point is at the corner of the Café Vaticano and the stairs on Via Tunisi.
How will I recognize my guide?
Your guide will carry an orange umbrella with our name. If there are any changes, you will be notified via WhatsApp, email, or iMessage with a photo of the new identification item.
What items are NOT allowed inside the monuments?
Large bags, suitcases, backpacks, weapons, sharp objects (knives, scissors), pets (except service animals), tripods, and selfie sticks are not allowed.
Can I take photographs during the tour?
